introduction

is it sometimes right to prevent scientific  discovery? i believe it isnt and this isnt right ,because it would lead to a lot of consequences for the futer for example people getting sick, no weponary and bad transport. scientific is really important in these days to keep up with the newest tech, fast transport , new informatin and even our social lives.

paragraph 1

without scientific development it would be like living in a frozwen world with no technological developments; for example imagine if you had too stay with an i phone 4 and every upgrade would be the same, im pretty sure it would be stupid to stop scientific development with this scenario. for example when thye phone wasnt even invented the world felt like they wasnt making any progress and itfelt like the world was frozen.

i believe people would get sick more often this cause the medicine standards would stay the same. and as new diseases start to rise im pretty sure the scientists wouldnt know how to tackle the diseasse people would just die. for example in the plague people died of how no scientific discovery had been done and im more than sure that the same thing would happen and even worse. this could also affect the averasge age because of how medicine wouldnt be there to extend the peoples life span and could well go to 30 as the average age. for example the ebola virus, there was no medicine to prevent it at the time and it surprised them and so millions of people died and i beleive this could happen again if scientific development.

war. scientific discovery had a big impact on how war was done and even the weapons. without scientific development im sure this country would’ve been over run by the Germans or any people who tried to rule this country. weaponry is vital to war and so if there was no weapons or more advanced weapons this country would be run by other people therefore its essential that scientific discovery continues so this country wont turn into dog poo. for example in world war one the Germans developed the mini gun which almost beat us bur we still managed to win and without scientific development this would be a different world, we would’ve been ruled by Germans and we would even speak German. also many people would’ve died and all of this just for stopping scientific development. therefor i believe its wrong to stop scientific development for thew good of the people.

paragraph 4

transport is the key of marketing and selling goods . this is why we have developed planes to go over long distances and transport our goods and even boats which can transport on sea. also us … the trains and busses allow us to go to work and without them we wouldnt be able to go to work.without scientific development peoplr wouldnt of created the revolutionar boat or plane or bus. without the boat trading wouldnr of been a thing, even colonizing wouldn’t of been a thing and development in anyway wouldnt of been a thing .tjis is why scientific development has to continue because if it wasn’t for this, the world you see right now wouldn’t of happened.also the if buses wast a thing then everybody would go late to work and the economy would go to shit, people wouldn’t be earning money and having kids wouldn’t be a possibility, basically scientific development has to be for everything.

energy is something we use from a day to day basis for example to charge our phones, to use in our houses, lighting and basically everything in our lives. Everything has been revolutionised to be electronic and to even have Wi-Fi to make out lives easier. Without scientific development none of this would be possible and even our development wouldn’t be possible because we wouldn’t know what carried energy or how to extract the energy out to benefit us and also our phones that we say we can’t live without wouldn’t even exist, therefore in conclusion I believe that stopping scientific development would lead to too much consequences in the long run and will never be a good idea to stop development.

?OUTSIDE THE WAR GATE?

Macduff: carrier turn to Macbeth, turn.       Macbeth:                                                   The wait is now over… I’m carrying too much blood on my hands that is mine.                 Macduff:                                         My gun is my own voice… it is more bloodier than words can express.                                                              {Gun/sword fight}                       Macbeth:however u can’t kill me as the prophecy states that anything born by a woman can’t kill me ever.                              Macduff:well u are mistaken. I’m born via c-section… so ur fate would not be decided by thee witches but by the gods.   Macbeth:this cannot be true… but how… it’s impossible… I won’t fight with you.. I can’t.                                                                  Macduff:fine then, be the coward and live to see day but u will die of guilt eventually as we know who the real monster is.          Macbeth:I will fight. I will let the gods decide. Not thee witches… I may lay by Duncan’s side but I know I will die like a hero therefore u r doing me a favor. Enough. Die macduff!!!!!

Act 1 scene 1 is about the three witches together talking about when and where they would meet again, after the battle is lost and won, upon the heath to meet Macbeth. Act 1 scene 2 is about King dunken and the captain talking about how Macbeth was brave and especially how he executed his victims with a bloody and gory execution also that the thane of cawdor was a traitor and Macbeth was going to take his place.  Act 1 Scene 3 is about how the ross and Angus told Macbeth that the witches had a profacy in which he was going to be the next Thane of cowdor and it came true straight away.

Dear diary…all I saw was death himself,I was starting him right in the eye….  so many people falling down dying from a painful death and I was scared that they would go against me and start to chase after me but I was in shock so in those moments I could even move a millimeter. There was thunder, lightning and rain. The weather was frightening. This was against the great king Dunken and the brave Macbeth And there there was a soldier that stood out from everyone else… he stood there staring at the enemy,the king, it was like he was looking into his soul and then he run with his sword high and then he finished with him with a bloody execution… a cut from his belly right up to his jaw. This was the cut that Macbeth needed to leave the King’s army powerless, Macbeth had pretty much won everything.

Once there was a great sheriff called Rick of a town in the US however he got shot twice in his shoulder whilst he was patrolling the streets; he had got shot by a sniper, no tracks were left by the sly sniper.he had ended up in A and E…

Grrrrrr the unknown creature growled.

Rick was confused, saw flashing lights and he was gaining back his vision as he started to wake up. As he started to walk he saw the hospital was empty and had blood marks saying ‘the end is here’. He was terrified and wondered what had happened however before he could think, he saw dead bodies laying on the floor like they were just killed without any mercy. As he started to wonder out of the hospital, he saw the bullet holes everywhere and rich red blood in what used to be glorious white walls. Everywhere was trashed, the lights were flickering and broken… he approached the shattered windows… he saw a crimson red sky and a completely different world… all was calm. Rick new the end was here.

He was out of the hospital and all he saw was 10000 dead bodies laying there; rick was confused and overwhelmed however he didn’t want to stay to find the people who killed them. He never knew what was going on.

“Huuuuh” exclaimed Rick… he saw… he saw half a human body.. alive!!! It was trying to catch him but it couldn’t as it couldn’t move. He worked out what was going on just then…’ a ZOM-B APOCALYPSE!!’ He had shouted.

He was doomed, he never knew what was going on, he was hopeless and had nothing, nothing….however to keep alive it was him vs the walking dead!!!!!

His first thought was, I need to survive no matter what I do. He had nothing on him so he decided to rob a house. When he entered he was very cautious and didn’t leave any room uninspected, he had found some clothes, a bag, canned food and drinks just enough to keep him alive for one week?, he thought it was all a dream however when he thought logically he knew there was no escape from this world, it was just a loop that you could never escape. As the day went to a close he had to find a place where was safe….

He got an idea….. the prison is safe. He knew the risk of going there but he couldn’t stay in the forest or he’ll be dead so the only option was to stay in the prison for one day, he had to check all of the cells and get the keys to lock his cell. When he reached the prison, he took his pistol and took safety off to be ready for anything. He checked the cells… nothing… he checked the other cells ….. nothing; then he saw an empty corridor, it was strangely silent he thought to himself’ there has to be some sort of zombies but there wasn’t in the whole of the prison, they have to be somewhere….. but where??? What about in the corridor!! He stepped closer and closer to the corridor, his hands started to sweat and clench , he could feel the heaps of adrenaline enter his body, he started trembling…. he was now a few steps away from the corridor… he stepped…. he stepped closer and closer, he was now only one step away, he took the step slowly and steadily..

…. BANG, BANG, BANG!!! He shot but there was nothing there, now all of the zombies noticed and started walking towards him, he ran out of bullets and there was no escape, he knew he would die, he was doomed. Noooo!!! He shouted as the zombies teared away his flesh layer by layer, they all feasted but he was already dead,he accepted his fate and now he was gone…..

Days later he felt alive again… it was like he fell in a deep sleep that he couldn’t come out of but then he did start to wake up… ‘wait waa!!!??! Am I…. no it can’t be…. I am aliveeeee!!???!?!…..he started to regain his eye sight, he didn’t even have a scratch on him, it was all clear to him now, when he was in the hospital the doctors gave a drug to 100 people that were in recovery and the drug was meant to heal himself, now to find the 190 people to save the world..

The end ( my story for Mr murry)

This novel is called The Walking Dead it is about a zombie apocalypse happens to the Worlds. It starts off with the sheriff called Rick, in a new world with zombies he needs to survive, he needs to create a group. A group that is fearless even when stared by death, a group that would do anything to keep alive. I would recommend this book to people that love zombie apocalypse and say to people who love gripping and entertaining story plots because this is one of the best story plots as ever read about and if you miss out even the sentence you miss a very important part.

Shrike is a powerful character because he has two sides to his personality as he can be a heartless creature and can also be a caring warm-heated cyborg.

This can be shown when he met Hester he said ” YOU CAN’T STAY HERE CHILD” this therefore means that he cares for her and that also proves that he isn’t heartless. However he can also be shown as a heartless creature when he as sent to kill Hester and Tom, he didn’t have mercy and would’ve killed them if they didn’t run; in this case he was a heartless cyborg that would do anything he is told and would never feel guilty. To include the way that Shrike says “CHILD” can also suggest that that he might have been a farther once which could be understood why Shrike had such an emotional connection with Hester and would mean a lot to the story because the reader would have much more sympathy for Shrike; so this creates sympathy for him, however this could also suggest that when he had lost everything he couldn’t rectify it.

Reeve creates sympathy for Shrike when he touched Hester’s face; this shows that he still has feelings so therefore this proves that he might of had a loved one before he had been turned into a war machine and had loved them as how he has feelings for Hester; this is one key asset that determines that Shrike is a powerful character. Also he has been described in every detail that could be imaged this means that the reader could imagine in the circumstances that Shrike is put in and also the reader could imagine being in Shrike’s shoes and also with the emotion put in Shrike means that the reader would have a lot of sympathy for him which therefore means that he is one of the most powerful characters in the book.

‘because that was the worst thing about the stalkers: they had been human once, and somewhere beneath that iron cowl a human brain was trapped’, this adds  an eerie feeling to the reader which should create a image of a lonely man trapped inside a jungle of wires,metal, dust and most of all … Loneliness. This therefore creates a feeling of sympathy and how Reeves describes this makes the reader have sympathy for Shrike and all of these points add up to make Shrike one of the most powerful characters in the whole story.

The reader has sympathy for Shrike because the reader had read the change from a normal and emotional cyborg into a ruthless emotionless killer that wouldn’t stop for nothing. This makes the reader know that it is a very deep change and knows it is real from and the description put into this, it cannot be put into words however the reader has an emotional connection with Shrike. Reeves puts this purposely puts all of these statements together to make the reader have a connection with Shrike and this will therefore make Shrike a powerful character.
